Biographical/Historical

Clive Staples Lewis (1898-1963) was a British writer and academic, well known for The Chronicles of Narnia. Together with fellow novelist J. R. R. Tolkien, Lewis was active in the Inklings, an Oxford literary group.

Photocopies of letters from C.S. Lewis to Claude Chavasse (fols. 81-2), 1934, and to Victor Hamm (fol. 83), 1945.
